Chesapeake Materials is a full-service supplier of plastic raw materials with broad and deep experience in reclaiming and the recycling of post-industrial and post-consumer plastic waste streams. The company is focused on sustainability and assisting industrial clients and manufacturers with internal collection systems, transportation, tolling, reprocessing, and re-introduction of plastic waste back into their closed-loop raw-material feed streams. Chesapeake will help your organization achieve long-term waste reduction and cost savings by capturing plastics and other valuables from your current waste streams and helping to recognize other inefficiencies. Please consider joining our annual effort to keep shrinkwrap OUT of our landfills. In 2024, we are again partnering with the DNR’s Maryland Clean Marina Program and Chesapeake Materials to recycle shrinkwrap. Our goal this year is to increase the number of participating businesses. Remember, mountains of wrap used each year are ending up in the landfill here in Maryland. Best efforts to recycle can fail due to the need to keep the wrap pure in order to make it reusable (all straps and debris must be kept out of the recycling bags). Help us to make this program a success.
