DEFINITIONS

"End Market" means a manufacturing facility that uses recyclables directly to make a new product.

"Generator" means an individual, business or institution that generates potential recyclables through its day to day activities.

"Processor" means a business or individual that takes collected recyclables and transforms them into a raw material suitable for use by an end market. This may include removing contaminants, sorting materials into marketable products and compacting or baling the material.

"Recycling Coordinator" means the individual responsible for managing the recyclables for a building, organization or jurisdiction.
